About Babu Dinesh Singh University (BDSU ), Garhwa, Jharkhand

Babu Dinesh Singh University  came into existence on 17th Feb, 2023 after notification of the Government of Jharkhand it’s in Jharkhand Gazette Vide No: 94 Ranchi passed by Jharkhand Assembly and assented by Hon’ble Governor of Jharkhand State on 14. 02. 2023 in the name of Babu Dinesh Singh University Act-2022 (Jharkhand Act No.-06, 2023)

BDSU has offered new courses/ programs from 2024-25 after obtaining approval from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) such as Bachelor of Technology(B.Tech.) in Civil Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security, Diploma in Engineering-Civil, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, Computer Science & Electrical under the faculty of Engineering & Technology.

Bachelor. of Business Administration (BBA), Master of Business Administration (MBA) under the Management Studies & Research faculty. Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA), Master of Computer Application (MCA) under the Faculty of Information Technology and Bachelor of Library and Information Sciences (BLIS) & Master of Library and Information Sciences (MLIS) under the faculty of Applied Science.

In additional to that the following programs is running in the university campus such as –

Homoeopathy- BHMS & MD, Dental Science- BDS & MDS, B.Sc. (Medical) in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Pathology, Physiology, Anatomy & M.Sc.(Medical) in Anatomy, Physiology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Medical Lab Technology, Pharmacology, Pharmacy- D.Pharm & B.Pharm, Applied Science- B.Sc.MLT, Education- B.Ed. & D.EL.Ed., Nursing-B.Sc. Nursing, ANM, GNM and Paramedical programs.

Industrial Training Institute(ITI) has also started different branches for the enhancing of skilled training and to provided employment generation schemes
