Achievements

Since its inception in 2004, DIPSER has registered noteworthy achievements in academic and other spheres of activity. Some highlights are given below:

• 100% students passed in 1st Division in M.Ed. examination for the session 2021-23 with 14 students achieving distinction.
• 100% students passed in 1st Division in M.Ed. examination for the session 2020-22 with 45 students achieving distinction.
• 100% students passed in 1st Division in M.Ed. examination for the session 2019-21 with 24 students achieving distinction.
• 100% students passed in 1st Division in M.Ed. examination for the session 2018-20 with 18 students achieving distinction.
• 100% students passed in 1st Division in M.Ed. examination for the session 2017-19 with 12 students achieving distinction.
• 98.39% students passed in 1st Division in B.Ed. examination for the session 2022-24 with 181 students achieving distinction.
• 98.31% students passed in 1st Division in B.Ed. examination for the session 2021-23 with 168 students achieving distinction.
• 100% students passed in 1st Division in B.Ed. examination for the session 2020-22 with 197 students achieving distinction.

• 100% students passed in 1st Division in D. El. Ed. examination for the session 2021-23 with 41 students achieving distinction.
• 98% students passed in 1st Division in D. El. Ed. examination for the session 2020-22 with 48 students achieving distinction.

• Supriya Keshri secured the First Position in the Final Examination of M. Ed.(2021 -23) and awarded Gold Medal by Sido Kanhu Murmu University, Dumka.
• Nishu Kumari, Mamuni Thakur and Lovely Kumari Gupta secured the First,Second & Third Position respectively in the state of Jharkhand in the Final Examination of D. El. Ed.(2020 -22) conducted by Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC), Ranchi.
• Megha Suman secured the First Position in the state of Jharkhand in the Final Examination of D. El. Ed.(2016 -18) conducted by Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC), Ranchi.
• Our students were awarded the First Prize in Shadow Drama Competition, organized by S. K. M. University.
• Shreya Thakur, student teacher of D. El. Ed., bagged the First Prize at National level Essay Competition.
• DIPSER bagged Second Prize in Inter-College Volleyball Tournament organized by the S.K.M University.
• DIPSER organized Health Check-up Camp and Blood Donation Camp, on the birth anniversary of Shrimat Acharya Saumyendra Nath Brahmachary Ji, the founder of the institution.
• The student teachers of DIPSER performed on "Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat" at the Cultural Function of S.K.M. University on the occasion of 150th Birthday Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
• On November 2, 2018, DIPSER successfully organized a programme on the topic, "Eradication of Corruption", in furtherance of directions of the Govt. of India.

Placement

The Institute provides placement facility through its Placement Cell. The Placement Cell plays a vital role in placing the successful pupil teachers suitably.

The competition for employment is increasing everyday along with new frontiers of employment in teaching profession. In order to provide all possible assistance to our prospective teachers, DIPSER formally established its Placement Cell in the session 2006-07 in the college premises. It acts as a liaison between the interests of the students and the recruiting agencies. In a short span of time the Placement Cell has developed a network with reputed schools of the region. The role of Placement Cell starts as early as organizing the past records of students at the time of admission, and helps them to prepare and update their individual profiles by providing the required technical guidance, knowledge of different pedagogies, and school related experiences through a variety of activities. At DIPSER we try our level best to develop the potential of our students through rigorous practical exposure and interactions. Several workshops and skill development programs are being conducted to hone their teaching skills to suit the requirements of recruiters. It is well supported by both faculty members and students.

Activities of Placement Cell

Activities include

• Interacting with schools and arrange interviews.
• Organising Career Orientation & Guidance Programs.
• Conducting mock interviews in college campus.
• Training in resume writing.
• Organising interactions of students with renowned personalities in the field of teaching profession.
• Providing school oriented interactive experiences through various activities.
• Adjustments in the teaching practice schedule of those students who get placement before the completion of B. Ed. session.
• Display of information related to vacancies in different schools.
• Conducting preparatory test (Like TEG CELL) related to teaching profession at College Campus.
• Arranging off campus and campus recruitment process with recruiters.
• Communicating with employers (schools) and furnishing profile of College and particulars of students.
• Guiding students to prepare for different competitive examinations like NET, TET etc. by providing uptodate information and preparation tips.
• Following up regarding professional enrichment after placement.
