Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University (DSPMU), formerly known as Ranchi College, is a state university located in Ranchi, Jharkhand, India. It was established in 1926 as a government college and upgraded to a university in 2017. The university is named after the Indian politician Shyama Prasad Mukherjee.
